SMS consent is collected during client intake and is limited to active client families.

If reference to a client is necessary, Aware Therapy may use an internal client code name or identifier instead of a full name to reduce the risk of identifying information being disclosed.

Parents or guardians may choose to include identifying or personal information in text replies. Aware Therapy will limit its responses and will not expand upon or introduce protected health information (PHI) in SMS communications.
